Let’s create happier
With the program LET’S CREATE HAPPIER, we would like to encourage choreographers to present their artistic ideas and visions even more effectively. At the same time, we want to support programmers and producers to develop open and creative forms of cooperations in order to bring new future-oriented forms of strategies for distribution into being.
In 2023, 8 artists as well as 8 programmers were selected and accompanied by mentors through tandem coaching sessions from the end of April until the beginning of June. Via online meetings, the teams came up with new strategies and skills. As a third step, those fresh concepts were presented to the entire group at a personal meeting in Stuttgart in June 2023. Here, the participants came together with more programmers and other interested persons in order to develop collaboratively future blueprints for the distribution of dance.
Why are we doing this? A growing number of artistic projects is entering the market and hitting programmers that can no longer display this high concentrion of productions within their programs. The system is under pressure and there is a strong need for new approaches towards a more sustainable and also more realistic foundation for collaborations. Together, we want to examine closely what the future of sustainable artistic distribution can look like and how we can cooperatively make steps towards this future. How do we need to change our ways of communication in order to create a more sustainable form of networking.
