For more than ten years, the festival has been presenting contemporary dance productions via exciting double- and triple-bill evenings – while also commissioning, producing and co-producing contemporary dance pieces. The focus is often, but not exclusively, on artists from North Rhine-Westphalia. This way, the festival has artists connect with each other while the audience experiences a combination of performances and accompanying smaller events, exchange and access. Whether you are a first-time viewer, a long-time fan of contemporary dance or a specialized journalist – the festival is for everyone. Hence, the program offers a wide range of formats: Be it night talks, dance scientific consultation, workshops, digital performances, art walks, podcasts, blogs, cooperation with students, dance sponsorships or a simple meetup at the bar.
